GOLDSTEIN, A Family Story

Goldstein was founded in 1963 by Mr. Joseph Goldstein of blessed memory, a spirited entrepreneur who came to Israel following World War II.

Goldstein company was both his life’s work and a realization of his dream to take part in building the young state of Israel. 

At first, Goldstein's focus was on the public sector, providing services of sanitation and waste management, while accumulating knowledge, experience, reputation and loyal customers.

In 1987, as the company grew, the second generation joined the family business.

Under their leadership, the company expanded its abilities to the industrial cleaning and environmental services field, supporting Israel’s emerging economy, and rebranded as “Goldstein Sanitation Ltd”.

Today, Zvika and Elad Shachar, grandsons of Joseph Goldstein, are leading the company as joint CEO's in the spirit of the former generation's vision of a productive, trustworthy and innovative family enterprise.
